Career coaching

Coaching for professionals who want a decision, not more options

We work on one question at a time: what is actually going on in your working life, what you have already proven you are good at, and what the next honest move is. Then we stay with you while you make it.

Online, English & Spanish60-minute sessionsFour to six sessions typical

Three focused programs

Start where your problem actually is

Every engagement begins with a free discovery call, so we can match the work to the situation rather than to a package we happen to be selling.
4 sessions over 8 weeks

Career clarity and direction

Four focused sessions for professionals who know their current situation is not working but cannot yet name what should replace it. We gather the evidence from your experience, identify the patterns that fit you, and design small experiments that de-risk the decision.

  • A written statement of the direction you are choosing and the reason it fits
  • Two or three low-risk experiments to test that direction before committing
  • A shortlist of role types, sectors or organizations worth approaching

Who it is for

  • You are considering a change but every option feels equally uncertain
  • You have collected advice from colleagues, articles and quizzes and it contradicts itself
  • You are being pulled in two directions: prestige and pay on one side, interest and energy on the other

Online, 60 minutes per session, notes and actions after each

4 sessions over 6–8 weeks, with document review between sessions

Job search and positioning

For professionals who are applying and hearing little back, or who are invisible to the market they want to enter. We rebuild the story, the documents and the search system so your effort lands in the right places.

  • A positioning statement you can repeat without hesitation
  • A résumé and LinkedIn profile that lead with evidence, not responsibilities
  • A target list of 20 organizations and the introduction paths into each

Who it is for

  • You are applying consistently but the response rate is dispiriting
  • Your applications go through job boards and never once through a person
  • You are targeting a sector or level you have not worked in before

Online, 60 minutes per session, written feedback on every document

2–3 sessions, intensively scheduled before your date

Interviews, promotion and negotiation

Short, high-intensity preparation for a specific interview, promotion panel or offer conversation. We build your evidence bank, rehearse the difficult questions out loud and prepare the numbers you will ask for.

  • A bank of eight to twelve stories with results, told in a minute each
  • Answers to the questions you are actually afraid of
  • A negotiation plan with your target, your walk-away and the words to use

Who it is for

  • You have an interview or panel presentation coming up in the next few weeks
  • You are going for an internal promotion and need to make the case to people who already know you
  • You have an offer in hand and no idea what is reasonable to ask for

Online, 60–75 minutes per session, rehearsal recordings included

How it works

What a coaching engagement looks like

No mystery, no drip-feeding, no dependency. You will know the shape of the work before you pay for any of it.
  1. Assess

A free discovery call, plus the self-assessment if you have not taken it. We agree on the problem worth solving and whether coaching is the right tool for it.

  2. Clarify

We define the outcome in one sentence you can hold onto, and the evidence that will tell us it has been reached.

  3. Position

Your experience is turned into language: stories, documents and a target list that reflect the level you are operating at.

  4. Act

Between sessions you run the experiments and conversations that produce real information. We review, adjust and keep the pace honest.

Before each session

A short preparation prompt so the session starts on the real question rather than filling the first ten minutes.

In the session

Sixty minutes, structured but not rigid: review, work, decide, commit. You talk more than we do.

After the session

Written notes, the decisions you made, and the specific actions before we next speak.

Who it helps

Situations we work with every week

You do not need to have it neatly summarized before you get in touch. Vague is fine — that is usually the starting point.
  • Career changers

Professionals moving into a different field, function or sector who need a structure for a decision that feels larger than it is.

  • Mid-career professionals

People with ten to twenty years of experience who are under-used, under-paid or simply bored, and want a move that reflects their real level.

  • Early-career professionals

Graduates and first-jobbers deciding where to specialize, and how to build a first two years that create real options.

  • Returning after a break

Parents, carers and people who stepped away for health or family reasons, re-entering on their own terms rather than apologizing for a gap.

  • New and aspiring leaders

People moving from doing the work to leading it, navigating influence, expectations and the first difficult conversations.

  • Bilingual and international professionals

Professionals working across languages and cultures, including those positioning an international career or a move to a new market.

Being straight with you

What coaching here is not

We would rather lose a booking than sell you something that will not help.
  • We are not a résumé-writing mill. Documents improve because your thinking improves.
  • We do not promise a specific salary, title or timeline — nobody honest can.
  • We do not sell six-figure “coach certification” shortcuts. Real training takes months, not a weekend.

If your situation needs something else — therapy, legal advice, a recruitment specialist — we will tell you that on the discovery call and, where we can, point you to the right place.

Not ready for a call? Start with the assessment

Four minutes, ten questions, a score and one specific next step. It is genuinely useful on its own, whether or not you ever book anything with us.

What clients report

Changes that hold up after the engagement ends

Client stories shown on this site are illustrative examples pending publication of verified, permissioned testimonials.

  • “I arrived with a spreadsheet of forty possible careers and left with three experiments to run. Six weeks later I knew which one was real. The structure is what did it — not encouragement.”

  • “I had been applying for nine months with nothing to show. We rewrote how I described my work, and within a month I was having conversations rather than sending applications into a void.”

  • “The rehearsal sessions were uncomfortable and completely worth it. I stopped rambling, told the truth about what I had achieved, and negotiated a package I would have accepted a third less of before.”

  • “As an HR lead I coached every week without any real training. Foundations gave me a framework, boundaries and feedback on recordings of my own sessions. It changed how I work with people.”

Decisions actually get made

The most common result is not a new job in week two — it is a decision made with evidence instead of another six months of considering.

Language that lands

Clients consistently report that they can finally explain their value in one sentence that other people repeat back to them.

A search that behaves differently

Moving from cold applications to warm conversations changes response rates more than any document edit alone.

Practitioners who keep improving

Training participants continue supervised practice after the cohort, because the habit is what sustains a coaching career.

Questions

Practical answers before you book

Career coaching

How 1:1 coaching works, what it costs and what it does not do.

What actually happens on a free discovery call?
Thirty minutes on a video call. You describe where you are and what you want to change; we ask questions, tell you honestly whether coaching is the right tool for your situation, and — if it is — outline the program we would recommend. If it is not, we will say so and point you somewhere better. No pitch deck.
How many sessions will I need?
Most coaching engagements run four to six sessions over two to three months. Interview preparation is shorter, usually two to three sessions scheduled around your date. If it becomes clear you need fewer sessions than we planned, we stop early.
Can I use a coaching program via my employer?
Yes. Many clients have coaching funded as part of a development budget. We can provide a short outline of the program, objectives and cost for internal approval, and invoice your organization directly.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. What you discuss in a session stays between us, subject to the two limits we state up front in every contract: serious risk of harm to you or someone else, and legal obligations. If your employer is paying, we agree in advance exactly what will be shared with them — normally only attendance and program completion, never content.
Do you coach in Spanish?
Yes. Sessions can be delivered in English or Spanish, and we can work bilingually where your documents or market are in one language and your thinking happens in another.

Practical questions

How do sessions take place?
Online by video call, with the option of a phone call if that is easier. You receive written notes and actions after every session.
What time zones do you work across?
Sessions are scheduled across European, UK, US and Latin American time zones. Booking a discovery call includes your preferred time windows, and we confirm an exact slot that works.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reschedule or cancel a session with at least 24 hours' notice at no cost. Later cancellations are counted as delivered, because the time was reserved for you.
