About

We help people make career decisions properly

We help professionals make deliberate career moves, and we train the coaches who guide them — with structure, honesty and genuine care for the person in front of us.

Why we exist

The short version

Vince My Coach began with a straightforward observation: most people do not lack ambition or ability. They lack a clear structure for the decision in front of them, and someone honest to think it through with.

That is the work. We take the tangled situation — a role that has stopped fitting, a market that is hard to read, a direction that keeps changing — and turn it into a sequence of small, testable decisions. Then we stay alongside you while you make them.

The training side of the practice grew out of the same conviction. Coaching is a skilled craft, not a personality trait, and the people who want to do it well deserve real instruction, supervised practice and an honest sense of what building a practice involves.

How we work

  • Structure before motivation

Motivational talks fade in a week. A clear process — assess, decide, position, act — keeps working when your energy dips, because you always know the next step.

  • Your evidence, not our theories

We work from what you have actually done: the results, the scope, the decisions you made. That is what makes a résumé, an interview answer or a promotion case convincing.

  • Small experiments over big leaps

Where a direction is uncertain, we design low-risk ways to test it — a conversation, a project, a short course — before you bet a year of your life on it.

  • Honest about the hard parts

Career change takes longer than the brochure suggests, and some roles will not be a fit. We would rather tell you that early than sell you another session.

Values

Four commitments that shape the work

These are not wall posters. They decide what we will and will not do — including turning work away.

Clarity

Plain language, defined next steps, no jargon used to sound clever.

Craft

Coaching and coach training are skills we keep sharpening and teaching properly.

Care

Careers sit inside real lives. Sessions account for the whole person, not just the résumé.

Candor

If something is not working, we say so — including our own recommendations.

What we are not

Being clear about the limits

  • We are not a résumé-writing mill. Documents improve because your thinking improves.
  • We do not promise a specific salary, title or timeline — nobody honest can.
  • We do not sell six-figure “coach certification” shortcuts. Real training takes months, not a weekend.

If you need something outside these two pathways — recruitment, outplacement, therapy, legal or financial advice — we will tell you so and, where we can, point you to someone better suited. Nothing about the discovery call obliges you to become a client.

Two audiences, one standard of care

Professionals coming for coaching and coaches coming for training are working on the same problem from different sides of the table: how to make good decisions about work, with evidence and without pretending.

  • Career coaching — one-to-one work on direction, positioning and offers
  • Coach training — cohort programs with supervised practice and business grounding

Next step

Start with a conversation, not a commitment

The discovery call is free and specific: you describe the situation, we tell you honestly what would help. If that is us, we will say so; if it is not, we will say that too.
